I am one of the members of the St Andrews team which has taken over the development of the GAP system for computer algebra and am a member of CIRCA the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Computational Algebra.
I am interested in the History of Mathematics and at present am supervising two research students in this area.

I am teaching part of the first year MT1002 course.

I am teaching part of the honours course Topics in the History of Mathematics. I am lecturing on Archimedes and Euler.
I will teach a course on Geometry and topology in the second semester.
